2014 European Elections Toolkit: a strong voice for diabetes in Europe - On 22-25 May, EU citizens will elect a new European Parliament to represent their interests for the next 5 years. As the European Parliament is the only directly elected European Institution, these elections are a unique opportunity for the European diabetes community to encourage policy-makers to commit to the diabetes cause. IDF Europe has released a European Elections Toolkit that looks closely at the upcoming European elections and at the challenges and opportunities they represent for the diabetes community, providing information about candidates as well as tips on how to reach out to them.
