Making health systems people-centred in the context of Health 2020 - Five years on from the signing of the Tallinn Charter: Health Systems for Health and Wealth, which called for greater investment in health systems, ministers and high-level officials met again in Tallinn, Estonia on 17 & 18 October 2013, at a follow-up meeting called “Health systems for health and wealth in the context of Health 2020”. WHO Europe launches Review of social determinants and the health divide in the WHO European Region - The review answers the demand from policy-makers for practical guidance on social policies that  reduce inequities in health between and within low-, middle- and high-income countries. EU Directive on Patients' Rights in Cross-border Healthcare enters into force - The EU law enshrines citizens' right to go to another EU country for treatment and get reimbursed for it.
